Virtual Manager Coach ("VMC", "the extension", "we") is a browser extension for the online football management game at virtualmanager.com. It is developed and maintained as a personal project by Kim Hjort. It is fully free — there are no paid tiers, accounts, or sign-ups.
When you configure the extension (language, feature toggles, training facility selection, country preference, and similar options), those settings are saved to your browser's extension sync storage (storage.sync). Your browser syncs this data across your own signed-in browsers using your browser account's sync infrastructure. We do not have access to this data — it never passes through any server we operate.
When you use the player-potential recording feature, the extension saves data about your players (player ID, name, star rating, XP, facility used, trainer status, timestamp, and potential text) to your browser's local extension storage (storage.local) on your device. This data stays on your device only — it is not synced and not sent anywhere. No email address, payment detail, or identity is stored by the extension.
The extension's content scripts run only on pages at https://www.virtualmanager.com. When the Training Mover feature is active, it reads training-exercise data from virtualmanager.com's own API endpoints (the same requests the game page itself makes) and, when the "apply moves" toggle is explicitly enabled by you, it writes training assignments back to virtualmanager.com on your behalf.
All network requests go only to virtualmanager.com. No data is sent to any third-party server operated by us or anyone else.
We do not sell, share, rent, or otherwise transfer any data to third parties. There are no third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs in this extension.
storage.sync): retained until you uninstall the extension or clear extension storage via your browser settings.storage.local): retained for the number of days you configure (default 90 days). Automatic cleanup removes records older than your threshold when the feature runs. You can clear all records at any time from the extension's options page.Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.
This extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Virtual Manager Coach is a fully free extension with no billing integration, accounts, or payment processing. This policy reflects what the extension does today. If the extension's data handling ever changes, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the updated policy will remain linked from the store listing.
